The team at Triple Aught Design created several Axiom’s, and they took in customer feedback off previous renditions to really fine tune this pack, and it shows. The admin pocket is very adept at consolidating all your small essentials into one manageable space. ![]() Capacity is rated at 24 liters (1465 cu in) and the pack measures 12” (30.48 cm) W x 19.75” (50.165 cm) H x 7” (17.78 cm) D – Weight is about 37 ounces comparable to a male adult Chinchilla (Short tailed) We see Hypalon Synthetic Rubber across the top, enhancing water resistance even more so. The pack has a mesh back made of closed cell, cross linked polyethylene foam. The water resistance of this material is far more impervious to water than traditional ripstop, and much lighter. Opening the bag is a little reminiscent of a bag of Lays Sour Cream and Onion at times but not overly noisy. ![]() Most of us are likely used to rough, heavy 1000D cordura, so it might seem like a sensory shock at first. ![]() VX-21 Ripstop is comprised of 4 layers including a C6 DWR 210D Nylon face, Polyester X-PLY, 0.25 mil PET film and 50D Poly Taffeta backing for abrasion resistance. Probably the first thing you’ll notice when handling the Axiom is the textile material composing the shell. In this review we’ll check out TAD’s Axiom 24 Pack and see if it can handle being a one bag…bag. It was a real nuisance swapping bags all the time, and it was then that I started my search for one bag to rule them all. Soon I found myself with a briefcase, an overnight duffle, a gym bag, etc. As I made the rough, aberrant transition into adulting I found out my trusty pack wouldn’t cut it. It served me well on the playground and through middle school. The Attorney is left scrambling once they learn of the true volume of work and the unrealistic pace - more.Growing up, all I needed was my leather bottom Jansport. The Axiom managers don't negotiate a realistic time frame, negotiate a cushion at the beginning of the project so that you can finish the project at a comfortable pace, get a clear set of tasks or volume of documents to review, require the client to organize and provide the documentation, and instead they push you to finish in some crazy unrealistic deadline. It often becomes apparent when you start the project that the amount of work you signed up for is often substantially different than the amount of work that actually needs to be completed. The projects are also given totally unrealistic deadlines for the amount of work that must be completed. This can be challenging as each company has its protocols, contract review guidelines, and negotiation standpoints that need to be shared at the onset so that the Attorney can be effective in reviewing, negotiating, or completing the task at hand. ![]() As an attorney, you are expected to jump into the client's databases, systems, and documents with little to no guidance or training whatsoever. They don't counsel the client on communication to the contract attorney, documentation organization, realistic time frames, proper expectations, or providing some initial training. I've worked on several projects for Axiom over the years, and the pitch for the projects is always great, but when you are hired onto the project, the information and expectations provided by the client, as compared to the information provided by Axiom, are often different.
